TERMS & CONDITIONS

CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICY

If you withdraw from the course for any reason and notify IELTS Online Preparation Centre Sydney, advising in writing,

30 days or more before the course begins, an amount no greater than 90% of the FULL Course tuition Fee will be refunded.

14 – 30 days, an amount no greater than 50% of the FULL Course tuition Fee will be refunded.

7 – 14 days, an amount no greater than 30% of the FULL Course tuition Fee will be refunded.

1 – 7 days, an amount no greater than 20% of the FULL Course tuition Fee will be refunded.

On and after commencement date of course NO refund applies.

Tuition cancellation is not effective until IELTS Online Preparation Centre Sydney receives written notification of your cancellation.

Course and other Fees are not transferable to another student.

All refunds are in Australian Dollars and processing time is within 4 weeks, from the date IELTS Online Preparation Centre Sydney receives written notification of your cancellation.

Any approved refunds are made payable to and sent to the student or his/her agent, in the country of origin as applicable in Australian dollars.

Bank charges are deducted for refunds made by bank draft or electronic transfer.

IELTS Online Preparation Centre Sydney will not be held liable for unforseen circumstances (eg. emergency evacuations) which do not allow completion of a class; however IELTS Online Preparation Centre Sydney will endeavour to fulfil its course obligation to students as far as is practical.

IELTS Online Preparation Centre Sydney will pay a refund to the student within 2 weeks after the course date when IELTS Online Preparation Centre Sydney:

Does not offer a particular course on the dates advertised and the student is consequently unable to attend that course.

Terminates a course after the course start date and before the course completion date.

All refund considerations will be strictly limited to the monies which IELTS Online Preparation Centre Sydney has received from the student as Course Fees only.

All decisions regarding refunds are made entirely by IELTS Online Preparation Centre Sydney and any correspondence after refunds are issued will not be entered into.

IELTS Online Preparation Centre Sydney does reserve the right to cancel a course at any time and will either reschedule a class to a date decided by IELTS Online Preparation Centre Sydney or will issue a refund according to the refund policy. In this event, any refund is equal to the daily/hourly Course rate minus the number of Course days/hours for which the student has received service.

No audio recording can be made during classes or during any dealings with IELTS Online Preparation Centre Sydney. Individuals who attend classes or who correspond with IELTS Online Preparation Centre Sydney can make hand written notes only. IELTS Online Preparation Centre Sydney reserves the right to retain any intellectual property rights to material provided during classes or within correspondence with individuals or groups.

All mobile phones and recording devices are to be turned off during classes. IELTS Online Preparation Centre Sydney reserves the right to request to inspect any suspect device, and request deletion of any material suspected of being recorded during classes.
Zoom/Online classes – Are all approximately 2 hours in duration. Students can receive feedback and assistance after their course has finished for up to 1 month.
Zoom/Online classes – Minimum of 24 hours must be given to IPC Sydney to reschedule or cancel a booked lesson time. IPC Sydney reserves the right to reschedule classes if 24 hour notice is not provided. Lessons are always booked for the benefit of students, so we always provide our students with as many lesson times/days most suitable for them each week. However, if booked classes are cancelled/rescheduled without a minimum of 24 hours notice, future bookings cannot exceed 1 booking per week.
To allow our staff and teachers to better assist all students, lateness of more than 15 minutes for booked/scheduled classes, may result in that lesson being cancelled for that day. This lesson time will then be open for other students.

IELTS Online Preparation Centre Sydney reserves the right to refuse admission, and or continuation of classes, whether already commenced or not, if there is a breach of these terms and conditions, or unacceptable behaviour or circumstances by an individual. Any possible refund will be according to the above policy minus an administration fee: currently $150, at 15-10-2010 .

All decisions regarding refunds are made entirely by IELTS Online Preparation Centre Sydney and any correspondence after refunds are issued will not be entered into.

This policy does not remove the right to take further action under Australia’s Consumer Protection Laws.

PRIVACY POLICY

IELTS Online Preparation Centre Sydney will keep all details and information collected from students private and confidential, and will not allow access to other persons or organisations unless with the express authorization of that student.
